| | ZOTOB.D worm is in the wild infecting only Windows 2000 computers so far!

Saturday July 24, 2010 12:53 AM -0400 | | CNN announced that a new variant of an older worm has been infecting millions of computers today. The good news (if you can call it that) is that it appears to only infect Windows 2000 users. However it's a good idea to get all Microsoft updates that are available for your Windows computer regardless of the edition. Microsoft has just released a patch to fix this security hole here:
Microsoft Security Bulletin MS05-039 (The Microsoft site also has patches for Windows XP at the link above, however no XP computers have been affected as of yet. |
